I played this game on the 360 growing up. I don't have a 360 anymore, but I did keep my Xbox Original. After discovering this title was also released on this platform, I of course had to get it for nostalgic reasons. For some strange reason there are NO custom soundtracks enabled!! you need to have your xbox's firmware flashed with the latest version , its about lt+3.0 i think thats whats on mine and ive only just had it done , :) Thanks atuamaede4 i'll post 1nce ive ran it through abgx and played :)

So many people are trying to burn XGD3 games onto cheap DVD+R Dual Layer discs without using a Lite-on iHAS[x]24B drive flashed with the special BurnerMax firmware, and then they wonder why things go wrong. rnrnLet me try and break things down a bit: rnThe most common problem is the types of disc people use which affects the quality of the burnt disc. rnVerbatim and Mitsubishi discs use a high quality AZO layer dye whereas all other brands do not (they use a cheap substitute) and this makes a BIG difference in the quality of the burnt disc which is why everyone recommends using Verbatim discs for Xbox 360 games.rn rnCHECK EVERY BURN using either K-Probe 2 program or NERO DISC SPEED program under the Disc Quality tab (Nero Disc Speed program is the easiest). rnIt's very easy to do, once you have burnt your game disc just scan the disc at 4x speed to check that the quality is good enough to use on Xbox 360 without any problems. This helps you avoid errors such as: DISC UNREADABLE / DISC UNSUPPORTED / DISC NOT AUTHORISED. rnScanning the disc will produce a graph and all you are looking for is to make sure that the PI MAX value is under 120 and the PIF MAX is under 5. rnPoor quality discs will spike, especially around the 50% area, whereas Verbatim mkm003 discs usually remain with a PI MAX as low as 12 and a PIF MAX as low as 2 which is considered to be a very good quality burn -you should never experience problems with a disc like that. rnAny disc that scans above PI MAX:120 / PIF MAX:5 is going to give you problems and errors. rnrnThe next common problem people have is through truncating your game discs. Microsoft have deliberately made newer Xbox 360 games too big to fit on standard DVD+R Dual Layer discs so when people try and burn the newer larger games IMGburn will state that all the data will not fit, and ask if you want to truncate or overburn the disc. This is a bad idea, because truncating (or overburn) will leave approximately 3% of the data missing from the game disc, and this is where Microsoft are putting some of the security data. rnSo you can see how truncating can be bad - if security data is missing then the Xbox 360 console will detect this, and this can get you banned from Xbox Live. Also, games can become unreliable and often crash or lock up because of the missing data. rnThe ONLY way to burn all 100% of the data to a DVD+R DL disc is using a Lite-on iHAS[x]24B burner which has been flashed with the BurnerMax firmware. The BurnerMax firmware basically allows the drive to write the extra data onto a standard DVD+R dual layer disc, beyond the normal limit of the disc. This means NO data is left out. It's ALL on the disc. rnrnIf you want to use your console on Xbox Live then you MUST use an iHAS124B/224B/324B/424B/524B or 624B drive to burn your XGD3 games. rnIf you don't use Xbox Live or just don't care if your console gets banned then truncating your discs may still be a valid option for you.rnrn

So i hope the above information helps clarify a few things. I cannot express enough the importance of SCANNING THE DISC to CHECK IT'S BURN QUALITY, as it gives you a clear idea of whether your game discs are good burns or not. So many people do not bother to check their discs and think that just because IMGburn said the disc burnt and verified successfully that the disc is good - this is NOT always the case. It takes just a few mintues extra but is definately worthwhile, and if the quality of your burnt discs is poor you can then try changing a few settings to help you get better burn results in the future!
