With the curse in place, the humans became monsters and ravaged the world. It is up to Adell, the last remaining human, to oppose Overlord Zenon's tyranny and restore peace and harmony to Veldime. In Disgaea 2, players will take on the role of a young fighter named Adell and travel the Netherworld to defeat the evil overlord Zenon. Battles will take place on a 3D grid-based field. You play as the hero Adell, a young human who feels the need to defeat the Overlord Zenon, a fantastically powerful demon who has turned Adell's entire world into a planet of demons. The setup is that Adell's mom is a conjuror who attempts to summon Zenon through a spell to help her son and to get herself turned back into a human, but the spell goes awry and Zenon's daughter Rozalin turns up instead. Loved the story, characters and most of all, the game play. I started with Disgaea 2 for PS2 and loved the series ever since.
