    Nella vita reale, il Red Bull X-Fighters, è una serie internazionale di motocross freestyle in cui i piloti hardcore propongono acrobazie che sfidano la morte in arene piene di gente. Se state pensando che un tale sport estremo sarebbe impossibile da portare in un mini gioco, allora ti sbagli! Non so come l'hanno fatto, ma l'hanno fatto. Ha già riscosso un grande successo l'applicazione per iPhone tanto che Red Bull X-Fighters ne ha fatta una versione anche per PSP. In realtà sulla PSP tutto funziona meglio: su iPhone si doveva inclinare il telefono per tenere la moto in equilibrio ed eseguire le acrobazie disegando con il dito sul touch screen, mentre i controlli della PSP rendono tutto molto più istintivo e immediato. L'adrenalina sale non appena si avvia il gioco. Tutto inizia con una colonna sonora rock e subito ecco il video con i primi piloti che sfoggiano le loro acrobazie. Si inizia con un livello tutorial, dove è normale cadere più volte. Questo primo livello è suddiviso in cinque diverse categorie: Equilibrio, Apprendere le acrobazie, Acrobazie concatenate, Accellerazione e Frenata. Da qui inizia la tua carriera da pilota freestyle. I controlli sono molto semplici: basta premere i tasti dx o sx (oppure usare il pad analogico) e usare gli altri quattro tasti (Triangolo, Quadrato, Cerchio e X) per eseguire le acrobazie.

    From the very first moment that you fire up the game it gets your adrenalin pumping. The rock music soundtrack thumps away in the background as the menu screen showcases an amazing demo featuring expert riders pulling off some incredible stunts.
    You start with the Basics training level, where you can expect to chow down on mouthfuls of dirt before you get to grips with the controls. The Basics level is divided into five different categories: Balancing, Trick Basics, Chaining, Accelerating and Braking. These are the essential core elements of being a successful minis FMX rider.
    The controls are very simple: press the left and right buttons on the D-pad or the analog stick to balance and steady your bike and also to flip it. To execute tricks, you must press either the buttons shown on screen or in your Trick Book.
