Not gonna lie, I actually loved before the storm more than the original till the farewell bonus episode. I wish they had just not given me anything. It also felt really rushed and idk. The second episode of Life is Strange: Before The Storm digs deep into the emotional tale behind Chloe and Rachel and made me want to see them succeed. Interactions with other characters can feel unimportant despite context, but many of these choices feel like they will actually hold consequence and are more believable than the first episode. Brave New World doesn't give Chloe and Rachel quite enough screen time to shine as brightly as Before the Storm's first episode, but there are plenty of top-notch moments in this instalment, and the cliffhanger has us eagerly awaiting our next fix of Life Is Strange.
