I just can’t quit Iron Rain. It’s just too addictively fun to give up on and any EDF fan that’s been around long enough is most likely used to these games having a few blemishes

I mean, Iron Rain could be fun, (even if it doesn't look as replayable as the main series and I have my doubts about that "pay for everything you use" mechanic) but for the AAA asking price plus even more than that in cosmetics.
I mean, Iron Rain could be fun, (even if it doesn't look as replayable as the main series and I have my doubts about that "pay for everything you use" mechanic) but for the AAA asking price plus even more than that in cosmetics and DLC, a number of us expected some manner of post-launch support for EDF . It is initially very discouraging as you don't get many resources, late game farming is simple and boring (though quite profitable), and it encourages you to stick with the things you know work rather than waste money on a weapon that you think sucks. It is still better than wasting years across multiple games farming for Monster-S without any luck though.
