Bioshock 1 was absolutely a great game, and I remember getting quite a few hours out of it. You ask if it's based around story, game play and if it has a progression loop. Many people argue that the PC versions are still buggy as hell, whereas others say that they have no issues at all. I've honestly never tried the remastered versions on PC, so I wouldn't really know.
