Disc Creatures is a tribute to classic monster catching RPGs from the golden days of portable gaming. Choose your three starter creatures and set off as a licensed Disc Ranger (a DiscR!) to tame the greatest of creatures and bring peace to the land! Disc Creatures is set in a world where humans live alongside a wildly varied cast of creatures, all with different personalities, abilities, and moral codes.

Good chance that the main character that you will be playing is in the "Monster Rebels" which is a just a group of monsters that are like goblins, orks, and some other creatures that refuse to be controlled by the All Seeing Eyes, so they decide to fight back with the humans. These creatures are more civilized then humans and more knowledge from right and wrong then the ordinary monsters.

Disc Creatures could easily pass for a Game Boy Color game. That's definitely its goal. It helps that Disc Creatures seems like a compact, smart Pokémon clone. There are plenty of monster catching games inspired by Nintendo's Pokémon on PC (and plenty of Pokémon fan games, too), but few look this authentic to Pokémon circa 1998. It's pleasantly familiar, even to me-I never played Pokémon, but I get a quiet joy from booting up a lovingly made little PC game in 2019 and feeling like I've discovered a lost Game Boy game, devoted to a very particular look and type of design.
