I’ll say this about The Exorcist II, at first, I really hated the film, I mean, it is a complete piece of shit compared to the original, which is fucking LEGENDARY!, but as time went on, I came to appreciate it a little more even though it’s still a pile of elephant shit. The fact that there was a different director really killed the film. Linda Blair agreed to reprise her role of Regan MacNeil for Exorcist II, but refused to wear demon make-up (a double was used for the brief flashback scenes depicting a demonic Regan). I actually always thought it was Linda Blair in the make up in Exorcist 2 but I guess it wasn’t. I wonder why she had issues with the makeup after agreeiong to be in the film.
