The game has been published for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC by Namco Bandai Games. Dark Souls II was released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 11, 2014 in North America, on March 13th in Japan and Australia and on March 14th in Europe. The PC version was released on April 25th, 2014. The game has a sequel, Dark Souls III, which was released in 2016.

Both of the aforementioned games were masterpieces in my opinion, so I had high expectations for Dark Souls II. What exactly were my expectations?
