Shishimai Rinka was a high schooler who ran a small café named Lion House in place of her grandmother. She lived her life much like any other person her age, but one day, she was caught up in an explosion while returning home on the train alongside her friend, Hitsuji Naomi.
In Fatal Twelve, players follow a young woman named Rinka. She’s a high schooler with an ordinary life and good friends named Naomi and Miharu. She works at Lion Cafe while her grandmother is taking care of a family member in the countryside. There’s an explosion, and she gives her life to keep Naomi safe. Except, Rinka doesn’t die. She’s alive again, but only because she is one of twelve people participating in the twelve-week long Divine Selection. Fatal Twelve follows Shishimai Rinka, a rather average high school student. Fatal Twelve seems to try and give most of its characters strong development and importance to the stor. ut ends up stumbling. While traveling home on a train with one of her friends, though, she winds up caught in an explosion in the train car. She manages to shield her friend from the blast, but loses her own life in return. The first two eliminations have no impact at all, due to lack of characterization of the victims. Hell, the first one barely gets three or four lines in the game.
