The World of Warcraft community forums have moved! . Some Private servers have been running for years. I could probably just play a private server with them on for instance a WOTLK server whilst playing WoD legit

The World of Warcraft community forums have moved! These forums are in read-only mode. Blizzard tends to pursue and shut down pirvate servers which make profit off of players OR Private servers with current content (such as Warlords of Draenor and Mists of Pandaria). I could probably just play a private server with them on for instance a WOTLK server whilst playing WoD legit. Also, can someone explain how a private server running on for instance BC or WOTLK is illegal.

It would be much more interesting to have an alpha or beta status of each expansion with a working sandbox setup. That way you can see development status from alpha/beta to retail.

No problem RavenrnrnFinalDrake Yes you start MySQL.bat, authserver.exe and worldserver.exe. Let them load and do not close them. Then go ahead and login.

@Sineater213rnThere is a site called betaarchives which has all the alpha/betas from vanilla to latest exp. Only thing missing is the emulator/sandbox program.

I got Battle for Azeroth up and running. I might do a Legion one but the emulators don't look [email protected] You might be able to but honestly I'm not sure how. If you know how to use MySQL you should be able to transfer your character over to the new expansion [email protected] What operating system are you running?

It should be working since you have 64bit but you're getting Operating System errors. If I had to guess I would say you need at least windows 8 but I'm not entirely sure though sorry. I'm running Windows 10 x64

I've downloaded and tried both this and the BFA versions you uploaded, and they're just amazing.rnOne small problem, and not sure what to do, so maybe you can shed some light. If I wanted to open up this one (the WotLK one) to a friend or two to play, how do I go about doing that? I know it mentions in the readme to just make a change in the authserver.conf, but I'm really not sure what I'm doing or how to go about that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)rnThanks again either way! These downloads really made my day....weekend...possibly longer. :)

It was a lot easier for the vanilla server but the new ones seem a lot harder. Let me see if I can do it and let you know since I've never had to open up my servers.

Know any way to make these ai bots work? The ones that imitate players that you can use to do dungeons and shit. Ikes AI bots or whatever.
