The Eye of Cthulhu is one of the first bosses you will fight, if not the first. In the first stage, the Eye of Cthulhu will hover around pretty slowly, and try to fly into you a few times. Also while hovering, it will spawn Servants of Cthulhu, which are basically Demon Eyes, but with much lower health. So, what happens in the first stage: the Eye of Cthulhu hovers, flies toward you, and spawns Servants. With this in mind, you will need something that can take out the Servants, while still damaging the Eye. What happens in the second stage: the Eye flies toward you at a much faster speed.
Cards of Cthulhu is a great solo card game with an interesting Lovecraft theme. The card quality is high- they are actually difficult to shuffle at first due to the card thickness. The artwork is very good, and the included metal coins and colored dice are a great touch and good quality as well. The game takes about 30 minutes to play solo (there is also a 2 player competitive version based on scoring points). You basically have 4 boards on which different color cards are played. You have to manage defeating cultists and the more difficult "horrors" by rolling dice combinations
