This is the first Metal Gear Solid game to feature the open world style of gameplay. Added to that, the game also features new sneaking and traversal methods. This game is the prolog to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. An introduction and sort of a demo of what Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain will contain. But I will say that Ground Zeroes is a very good intro. Too bad it is so short though.

It combines tense stealth and best-in-class cutscene direction, and these aspects stand above any other game in the series, but naturally, the narrative ultimately concludes sooner than you'd like.
