The Battle of Belleau Wood (1–26 June 1918) occurred during the German Spring Offensive in World War I, near the Marne River in France. 2nd (under the command of Major General Omar Bundy) and 3rd Divisions along with French and British forces against an assortment of German units including elements from the 237th, 10th, 197th, 87th, and 28th Divisions. The battle has become a key component of the lore of the United States Marine Corps.
Wooden Battles - Wooden Conflict is a fort building battle sim. You build a wooden fort, place units, and then watch the battle unfold. To win the game you either have to destroy all of your opponent's units, or capture their flag. Units can be toggled as either "offensive" or "defensive. In this update I am adding mines and a few turret types. They cost "block currency," the same currency you use for blocks and structures. They also work the same way that blocks do, so if you don't have any units left, just the mines and/or turrets, you will lose the battle. I may change that later on, I will see.

A new update for Wooden Battles is here! The Winter Mode is now removed from the game, but there have been some major changes to Conquest Mode. Conquest Mode now has 2 new factions, Purple, and Teal. Several bugs have been fixed in this update as well. That issue should be resolved now. There were some issues with AI and Battle Simulations, these should now be resolved. Some people had issues with mouse sensitivity on different display resolutions.
As they neared Wood Lake on September 23rd, Sibley’s men escaped an ambush by 700 warriors under Little Crow and engaged them in a battle. Sibley’s force won the day inflicting heavy casualties on the Sioux. For this action, Sibley received a promotion to brigadier general. Wood Lake was the first decisive defeat of the Sioux since the uprising began.

The Wooden Idol is a foe in Epic Battle Fantasy 4 and 5, and a summon in the latter. It is found in forests such as Lankyroot Jungle and Ashwood Forest (EBF4). It is the first Idol to be encountered in EBF4, possibly in the very first battle. They are found in several areas in EBF5, once again in the Greenwood area but for the most part they are concentrated in the Mystic Woods and the Wild Tropics.
