The Codex of the Inconceivable is a miscellaneous item in Planescape: Torment. Opening the book to read it immediately grants 1,000 XP. A strange tome, it seems to be full of things too inconceivable to describe. If Morte is present when the book is read, he is curious about its contents and excitedly asks the Nameless One to let him see it. Refusing him lowers his morale slightly. The book can be purchased from Vrischika's Curiosity Shoppe for 1,000 coppers.
