Even with its flaws, Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk is one of the most enjoyable dungeon crawlers that I've ever played. The somewhat open-ended progression system and rewarding party growth mechanics make for one satisfying adventure. Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk deserved a second chance, especially for a deep and rich turn-based combat system. Unfortunately the plot is not told with the right rhythm, and the technical department is backward. Recommended for old-fashioned dungeon crawler and GDR fans.

This is blatant misinformation. Having higher luck yields more criticals, more guards, and may have an effect on resisting status ailments - which is in addition to various Coven bonuses and the Guarding Passive. And because it's easy to do, there's simply no reason not to. If you're vain about character names, simply spend some mana and use the Witch's Pact to rename them.
But be careful, the more riches you obtain, the more vicious the dungeon becomes.
